Bercu began drawing at age six when she completed her first self-portrait.  

 

Her fascination with what makes each of us unique is always a motivating factor in the shapes she creates in her art. Her expressive gift and novel “take” on reality brings the magical flow of her lines and forms to life with emotion and grace.

Her work has been compared to the drawings of Picasso, Miro and Al Hirschfeld, though, without a doubt, Bercu continues to march to her own drummer.
